Yesterday my sister, brother-in-law, and I traveled to our Kentucky short-term vacation rental lots to meet with an Amish builder. We are all excited about this gentleman, as he is very affordable and fast with building cabin rentals. I also met with Scott from Amburgey Excavating Services to show him where I wanted my house to sit so he could clear out the space before the build.
The builder was helpful when deciding where to put the house and how to orient it in order to have the best views and the most privacy.
I had some extra time on Lot 8 by myself while the builder was meeting with another buyer to talk about their rental cabin, so I explored and took lots of pictures. The more I investigate, the more I realize what a beautiful piece of property I have! There are so many cool features, and I want to make sure I am using them all to their fullest. So many ideas are swirling around in my head! It's all very exciting and overwhelming. However, the builders and contractors have been full of ideas for my cabin rental and helpful working through different obsticles.
Later that day we were fortunate enough to have a local entrepreneur give us a tour of some of the other short-term rental vacation cabins in the area. Wow! What a gift it was to spend time with and learn from him. I really got a sense of just how beautiful this area is. It was also so neat to see other cabin rentals and get a million new ideas.
